She's such a cynic, they say. The type of girl you can trust to bring your happiness down to questions, to what-if's, to maybes. She's the one everyone knows as the girl with the continuous broken heart. The realist, the one who has no faith in humanity.
What those people don't know is that girl has lived through hell. She's seen the damage relationships cause, the heartbreak happiness can lead to, and the regret after you lose the amazing one. She's seen firsthand the effect of love, and how it can change a person to accept everything they were once against.
This girl, she's young. But she is by no means naive.
She's such a cynic, they say. But she's also the one who keeps holding on. That optimism, that hope and faith that something will change for the better eventually. That's what keeps her holding on.
